This motel is a charming throwback with a relaxed vibe and great access to the beach. The rooms are clean, although a bit outdated, with a good kitchenette setup. The pool area is well-kept, making it a fun spot for families. However, the mattresses in some rooms could use an upgrade, and the exterior could use a little TLC to look its best.

We've stayed at this hotel three years in a row for a long October weekend and have enjoyed it each time. The hotel has a charming 50s/60s vibe, and while it's certainly basic, the clean rooms and linens make it a good choice for a budget stay. The location is fantastic, just steps from the beach, but the noisy AC units can be a downside, and some areas could use a little TLC.
